About Ewing
A short overview of our community.

Getting Around
Proximity to the Trenton Mercer Airport makes air travel close and convenient  for residents and business travellers.  The West Trenton Railroad Station also conveniently serves daily commuter travel to Philadelphia.  Travel in town is assisted by the NJ Transit Bus Line.

History
Ewing was incorporated in 1834 and is named after Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court, Charles Ewing.  It has a long rich history as a community.  Ewing was a choice area for the early settlers because of its location on the Delaware and rich fertile soil and George Washington marched his troops down Bear Tavern Road to Trenton after he crossed the Delaware that fateful Christmas morning.  Its choice location north or New Jersey's state capital played a significant role in its early industrial development.  Today, its strategic location along major transportation lines and assets contributes to its attraction to businesses and residents alike.  Learn more about Ewing's history.
