Scotch Road Convenience Center Closing for the Season After This Saturday

Reminder: the Scotch Road Convenience Center is closing after this Saturday, November 11^th until springtime.

The Bulk Waste Convenience Center at Public Works at 136 Scotch Road will be closed for the winter season after this Saturday, November 11^th.  The Center will reopen on Friday, March 22^nd 2024.^.  (The Jack Stephan Way Brush Drop Off will remain open.)   

Reminder: this Friday is Veterans Day and all municipal offices will be closed including the Dump Site.  

The Scotch Road Convenience Center is for bulk items such as large household waste & materials, furniture, fixtures, wood debris, and small appliances, etc., and we encourage residents to take advantage of the remaining time to drop off their bulk items. 

Procedure Refresher for Drop Offs

Each household user who wishes to use the facility must have a Bulk Drop-Off Validation Card (available through our Community Pass system with sign- up completed at the Ewing Senior and Community Center) and each household is restricted to 12 visits to the facility annually. 

The normal hours of the Bulk Waste Convenience Center are listed below.

Scotch Road (Public Works):
Fri & Sat: 7:30am - 2:30pm  (Site closed from 11:30 - 12:30 for lunch) except for holidays.

Brush Drop off Convenience Center Hours  

Jack Stephan Way (Brush Drop-off):
M - Sat: 7:30am - 2:30pm (Site closed from 11:30 - 12:30 for lunch) except for holidays and temporary closures for mulching
