Mayor Bert Steinmann, in coordination with Ewing Green Team, is launching an inaugural Restaurant Week in Ewing.
Scheduled from April 23-29, the week-long event encourages Ewingites, county and surrounding area residents to visit Ewing’s amazing eateries.
“Ewing is host to a number of exceptional food establishments, with plenty of different fare to discover whether that be Italian, barbecue, seafood, Asian or American comfort food - you name it, Ewing has it – Restaurant Week is a chance for us to showcase them.” stated Ewing Mayor Bert Steinmann.
Participating restaurants were welcome to participate in any way they prefer – whether that be a small discount on a particular food item or a more robust pre-fixed price menu – Ewing has set up a website with information at ewingnj.org/restaurant-week on participating establishments. Among those participating (and growing) are:
“Ewing is a great destination for a ton of different types of fare, this is the perfect opportunity to see what you’ve been missing.” said Green Team liaison Councilwoman Jennifer Keyes-Maloney.
The Ewing Township Sustainable Green Team is composed of a group of concerned Ewing residents dedicated to building a sustainable community in Ewing Township. The Team was established in 2009 by Ewing Township’s Sustainable Ewing Resolution under the auspices of the Ewing Environmental Commission.
