Public Notices

Beginning March 1, 2026, this page will serve as a landing page for all Public Notices from the Township of Ewing. Notices are housed in our online website / database eCode360 which serves as a repository for all official documents of the Township. Once uploaded to eCode360, items are housed there indefinitely, providing a permanent archive of all township documents and records.

On June 30, 2025, Governor Phil Murphy signed P.L. 2025, c. 72 into law, which amends the legal notices requirements under the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA). In particular, the law made several key changes:

Beginning March 1, 2026, public entities must publish their legal notices on their website rather than in newspapers.
Notices must appear on the public entities' websites for at least one week and then must be archived for one year.
Public entities are required to send their website link to the Secretary of State for inclusion on the Secretary of State's website.
Until March 1, 2026, public entities can comply with the Open Public Meetings Act either by posting notices in a newspaper or on their website.
For the duration of the calendar year 2026, public entities must advertise twice per month in an online news publication that provides information about where their legal notices can be obtained on the public entity's website.
