Per Diem EMT 

Ewing Township is now accepting applications for a Per Diem EMT. This position administers to and tends to ambulance patients prior to and during transportation. This is a professional job that must remain flexible due to the nature of emergency calls that may include working in hazardous conditions and in uncontrolled environments. This position requires the necessity to use critical thinking skills to assess, triage, communicate, treat and transport patients during life threatening situations. Daily operational tasks are also required in support of the department. All actions must be in accordance with all of the State of NJ Guidelines (8:40) regarding Emergency Medical Technicians. Applicants are required to have current NJ Certification/Licenses for the following: Certified Emergency Medical Tech, Basic Life Support, NJ Licensed Driver. Public Safety Telecommunicator Trainee 

Ewing Township is now accepting applications for a Public Safety Telecommunicator Trainee. This is a full-time position. Rotating schedule of 12 hours shifts. Under close supervision, receive and respond to requests for emergency assistance including law enforcement, fire, medical, or other emergency services. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to pass an EXTENSIVE police criminal background check, physical, and drug screen. A valid driver’s license is required. Initial annual salary is $32,000 dollars. Depending on certifications and years of experience as Police Dispatcher salary may be negotiable. Laborer, Non-CDL

Ewing Township is now accepting applications for a full-time Laborer.  Must have ability to perform various types of heavy manual and unskilled labor for prolonged periods of time. Ability to use tools and equipment needed to perform routine, unskilled labor tasks. Ability to follow instructions and safety precautions. Ewing residency and a valid driver’s license are required. Must be available to work Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday. Annual salary is $31,000 which is non-negotiable and determined by union contract.

School Crossing Guards

Ewing Township is now accepting applications for school crossing guards for the 2021-2022 school year.  This is a part-time position. 2 hours/day-one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon on days that Ewing Township schools are in session. Hourly wage is 18.00 dollars/hour.  Uniform and training will be provided. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screen.  A valid driver’s license is required.
