Ewing Community Centers Set to Reopen April 5th

Message from Ted Forst, Community Affairs Director regarding reopening of Ewing’s Community Centers.

Good news, friends, our Community Centers will reopen on April 5th, from Monday – Friday between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.  At this time there will be no night or weekend activities. The gym will also remain closed at this time.  All activities and classes have a limited amount of space and all COVID-19 protocols will be followed.   Face masks are required at all times.

Senior Activities

Outdoors

• Balance Class with Bob Kirby
  Beginning April 8^th at Hollowbrook Community Center. Thursdays from 1 – 2 pm
• Senior Exercise Class with Karen Martin
  Beginning April 19^th at the ESCC outside Patio Area. Mondays (10am) | Tuesdays (9:30am) | Thursdays (10am)
• Line Dancing with Joanna Keephart
  Beginning April 23^rd at ESCC outside Patio Area. Fridays (9:30am)
• Register for Senior Swim and Water Aerobics now! (Ewing residents only, Fee $35)

Indoors

The following programs begin the week of April 5^th.  A maximum of 10 people per class will be allowed for indoor programming.  

• Jewelry Program - Mondays (1 – 3 pm)
• Cards/Pinochle – Tuesdays (10am) | Thursdays (12:30pm)
• Bingo – Tuesdays (12:30 and 2:30 pm)
• Knitting – Wednesdays (9:30 – 11 am)
• Mah Jongg – Wednesdays (2:30 – 4 pm) beginning April 14^th
• Mah Jongg for Beginners – Wednesdays (3 -4 pm) beginning April 21^st

Youth Activities

• Spring Basketball Camp
• Moody Summer Basketball League
• Summer Camp for Grades K-7^th s
  Camps begin the week of June 28^th and run through the week beginning August 30^th. Hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with early drop off and late pickup also available.  Due to COVID-19 schedule changes may be made at any time.  Weekly enrollment is reduced with a daily capacity limit of 12 campers per grade.  There will be no field trips or Teen Travel Camp.  See linked flyers for additional details.

Ewing Pool System

Pool membership registration is now open.  Register and pay by April 12, 2021 and receive a 5% discount.  For more information about the Ewing Pool System go to https://ewingnj.org/pools. See our flyer for hours and fees.

Park Rentals

We are again accepting park rental requests for Banchoff, Watson and Higgs Parks.  There are limits to the number of guests allowed.  Request forms are available online or in the office.

Ewing Sports Leagues

Ewing Little League, Ewing Girls Softball & Ewing United Soccer registrations are also open.
