Recreation Happenings 11-19-25

Here’s our November summary for the upcoming events and registration opportunities for residents of all age groups for the end of November through December.

treeMayor’s Tree Lighting

The Ewing Tree Lighting will be held on Friday, December 5th at Betor Park behind the Ewing Municipal Building from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Santa will be there at 5:30 for photos and to turn the lights on. There will be crafts, caroling, ballon makers, refreshments and more!! Saturday, December 6th is the rain/snow date. There will be reception bins for Toys for Tots and Ewing Food Pantry.

Ewing United Indoor Soccer

EUSA will be running indoor soccer at Fisher Middle School on Sundays starting January 18th. Registration is open on their website https://ewingunitedsoccerassociation.teamsnapsites.com. The league will have instructional division first followed by games. The league is for 4-year-olds up through high school.

Adult Volleyball

Adult Co-Ed Pick-up Volleyball is held on Wednesday nights at Antheil School from 7:00pm – 9:30pm. This program is informal and is for all levels of players. Players need to register on ewingnj.org/recregistration.

Adult Indoor Soccer

Adult Co-Ed pick up indoor soccer will be held on Monday nights from 6:30pm – 9pm, at Lore School Gym and will start November 12th. This program is informal and is for all levels of players. Players need to register on ewingnj.org/recregistration.

Chess Club

The Ewing Recreation Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings at St. Luke’s Church on Prospect St. Play is from 6:00pm – 10:00pm. The chess club is also starting a Saturday afternoon program for beginners at the Hollowbrook Community Center from 12pm – 2pm. Civic Rec Online Registration

The Ewing Recreation Department is starting to use new registration software, Civic Rec. Civic Rec has replaced Communitypass. So, for any program registration you will need to use Civic Rec. To register go to ewingnj.org/RecRegistration.

Senior Holiday Luncheon Program

Performance: Winter Wonderland Spectacular performed by the Ballet Workshop II.

Date: Friday, December 19th 12 - 2 PM

Location:  at the Hollowbrook Community Center, 320 Hollowbrook Drive, Ewing, NJ in the Community Room.

Cost: $9 per person | $14 per couple | $11 non-resident

Mercer County Nutrition

Seniors 60 and older or anyone married to a person 60 and older is welcome to participate in the nutrition program. The program is located at the Hollowbrook Community Center. Each person is asked to donate $1, and all donations are confidential. A delicious balance meal is served.
