Special Weather-Related Brush Pickup in Zone 2 – November 6 & 7

Ewing Township Public Works will perform a limited emergency brush collection in Zone 2 on Thursday and Friday, November 6–7, in response to the strong wind event that caused a significant amount of storm debris last weekend.

This one-time pickup is being made by order of Mayor Steinmann as a courtesy to residents affected by the storm.  

Public Works staff will attempt to collect the Zone 1 brush next week on Thursday and Friday.  Please be aware that next week is a short week due to the Veterans Day holiday making this additional collection difficult, but staff will do their best to collect the remaining brush. 

Please note:

This is not a return to curbside brush collection. Residents are asked not to place any additional brush at the curb at this time. Any remaining brush must be stored on your property or brought to the Dover Ave. site during regular hours. 

We appreciate your cooperation as our crews work to stay on schedule with leaf collection and respond to this weather emergency. Thank you for helping us keep Ewing safe and clean.  

Brush placed at curb during loose leaf period with the exception of this one-time pickup creates significant operational challenges and will be subject to code enforcement penalties during the remainder of the Leaf Collection period.
