FEMA Flood Risk and Insurance Open House - Postponed

If you have questions about flood risk and insurance, get them answered by a FEMA representative on Thursday, October 30^th between 3 and 7 pm.

Residents of Mercer County (Townships of Hamilton, Lawrence, Ewing, as well as the City of Trenton) are invited to a public meeting to learn about the updated flood maps and their flood risk and insurance.  

Residents may search and review the preliminary Flood Insurance Study (FIS) and Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) for Mercer County here. They can also use the Flood Map Changes Viewer to compare the new preliminary maps to the current digital effective maps.

There is no formal presentation at the Open House. Residents are welcome to attend at any time during the event. At the Open House, attendees will have the opportunity to learn what the updated flood maps mean for their community and get answers to questions about the maps, the mapping process, and flood insurance.  

Bring your flood insurance declaration page with you if you have it.
