An Update on Trenton Water Works
Most of our residents receive their water from Trenton Water Works (TWW), and we want you to know that Ewing Township is closely monitoring the situation.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has issued a letter to the City of Trenton, which owns and operates TWW, stressing the need for major action to ensure long-term reliability and safety. While DEP has provided temporary oversight to stabilize the system, permanent solutions are needed.
Mayor Bert Steinmann has urged the City of Trenton to take the steps needed to protect all TWW customers, including participating in the regional restructuring process recommended by the DEP.
You remain our top priority, and we will continue to advocate for a safe, reliable water supply for all Ewing residents.
