Ewing Recycling Programs

Ewing Township also offers some of its own recycling programs, including residential brush drop-off and electronics recycling. Brush can be dropped off at the lot on Jack Stephen Way, off of Parkway Avenue and adjacent to the Naval Jet Propulsion Center. Electronics can no longer be placed out for curbside garbage pick up, but can be dropped off for recycling at the Department of Public Works, Waste Drop Off Convenience Center, located at 136 Scotch Road. More information regarding electronics recycling in New Jersey can be found at E-Cycle New Jersey.

For more information about what can be recycled in our area please see the Ewing Green Team's Ewing Recycles website.

Ewing Shred Days

Ewing Township also hosts bi-annual Shred Day events. These free events are for Township residents only and provide a completely safe and secure way to clean out old checks, bills, and any confidential documents that need proper disposal.

Materials from businesses are not accepted and Ewing residents will be required to provide Proof of Residency. Because this is an extremely popular program please be prepared to spend a few minutes waiting in line. The events take place rain or shine.

These events are held at the Municipal Complex located at 2 Jake Garzio Drive from 9:00am until 1:00pm.  The 2017 dates are Saturday April 22nd and October 21st.  Watch for our ads in the Ewing Observer and check our press releases for reminders about the events.  You can also check the Twp. Calendar for upcoming dates.
