Swift911 Notification System

In an effort to provide more reliable and effective communications with citizens, Ewing Township has implemented the Swift911 system as our Community Notification System provider.

The Swift911™ Community Notification System is designed to communicate with our citizens in both emergency and non-emergency situations, and will serve as an important way for the Township to distribute information. This system can make phone calls or send text messages and emails to specific people or areas in the event of an emergency, and can make thousands of calls in a minute to convey vital information. Emergency messages may include information on floods, fires, water emergencies, road closures, missing persons, evacuation orders, and weather emergencies. Non-emergency communication notifications may include Township information such as event and program reminders, service information, and other general communications. Citizens may further customize their communications by opting-in or opting-out of some types of notifications.

It is important for residents and business owners to provide contact information such name, address, and unlisted, unpublished or cell phone numbers. Accurate addresses and contact numbers in the database help to ensure emergency information will be passed on to everyone in a timely manner. If you would like to provide an alternate number other than your home number you may also do so. The alternate phone number would be called if your primary phone number is not answered by a person or answering machine.

All calls you receive will have the caller ID of “Ewing Township”, or in the case of Police-related or other Emergency Information, “Ewing Police”. Your information will not be provided to any outside agencies or companies.

To update your information please sign in or log in below. If you do not have access to a computer you may call 609-883-2900 extension 7777 to provide information.

You may also download the “Swift911 Public” app on iOS and Android phones, or text “SWIFT911” to 99538 to receive a link directly to your mobile phone.

For help with registration, please refer to the "How to Register for Swift911" document, available HERE.  You may also access the Swift911 online help after clicking "Register Now!"
