Community Fest - Saturday, September 29th

Ewing Township, the Ewing Public Schools and The College of New Jersey proudly invite you to enjoy our fall tradition and gather on TCNJ’s campus to enjoy a day filled with local vendors, crafters, civic organizations, delicious food, family amusements, and of course, each other.

About

Community Fest is an annual community celebration hosted by Ewing Township, the Ewing Public Schools and The College of New Jersey in early fall where residents come together for a celebration of community and fun.   The event is free and open to the public!

‚ÄčIn addition to browsing the vendors, Community Fest offers complimentary entertainment throughout the day.  Family-friendly amusements include inflatables, music, and performances by local school groups.

Community Fest 2018

The 2018 Township of Ewing Community Fest will take place on Saturday, September 29 from 10am to 4pm at the College of New Jersey (rain or shine).   Ewing Township's Community Fest is run in partnership with with TCNJ and the Ewing Schools.   The Village is easily accessible from all parking lots.

Directions on Campus: From the entrance on Rte. 31, bear right.  Ewing Community Fest will be located at the green across from Campus Town and adjacent to parking lots 3 & 4.

Event Mainstays

  • Community Fest Village
    This mainstay of the event features local vendors offering crafts and goods that will help give you a good start on your holiday shopping.   Stop and chat with the your friends and neighbors in local community groups to learn more about how they make a difference in our community and how you can too. 
  • Food Court
    Take a break from the festivities in the Community Fest Food Court  where restaurants will serve up some of your favorite treats and culinary delicacies.  
  • Kid Zone
    Look for inflatable rides for kids similar to those that appeared at past Community Fests, including a super slide, rocky mountain, UFO laser tag and crayon bounce.
  • Ewing Bike Ride
    Join the Ewing Green Team for a healthy outing to start of the day on their 4th Annual Bike Tour while raising money to support the work and programs of The ARC Mercer.  The Tour, being run in collaboration with the Recreation Department,  runs from 8:30 to 11 am.  The event will start and end at TCNJ's Campus Town. The theme for this year’s ride is “Bike Riding for a Healthier You.”  Police escort is provided.  This ride is adults 18 and older.  The ride registration fee is $20 until Sept. 22 and $25 after. All persons registering by Sept. 22 will receive a T-shirt. Day-of-event registration begins at 8 a.m.  The ride is limited to 50 riders so pre-registration is recommended.
